Since last week I have been eating a lot of sweets and peanuts. Well, my children had their Halloween party at their school, friends and other places. Wow Christmas is just like in the corner. Well, it’s time for me to get ready all the holiday cards then send it to my friends and relatives. Last year, I didn’t send them a card for some reason, I was really busy. I was going to send them a card but it was already Dec 15 though they will receive it late. This time, I will get ready as early as I can.

Two weeks ago I had a great time on vacation in Florida. It feels really nice after the vacation but it is also tiring in going back to work. Tomorrow, I will report at the office even I am tired to report, I am also excited because one of my co-worker called me that our office have new office furniture. All the employees’ tables are new that means mine is new too.

I could still remember when we were still young that we always spent our vacation at our grandfather’s farm in the province. His place is very remote, no neighbors and no rides to take you there except horses or your feet. Meaning if you have no horse you have to walk by feet in going there for more that an hour. Our grandfather has one horse and usually we, my other two sisters would ride the horse while our uncle would walk. Every time our uncle would take us back to our own house he would always let the horse eat and take horse supplements.

I was watching television last night while my eldest daughter was playing her toys beside me in the couch. She was not really watching the program I’m viewing but she heard the words travel insurance from one of the person talking tv. At her age and as usual she asked me “Mom, what is travel insurance?” And as usual again we have a lengthy discussion because one question leads to another question.

Would you believe that a woman like my mother knows some of the truck accessories? She doesn’t know how to drive any vehicle though but she knows the accessories. It is because when her parents were into trucking business and they owned trucks, she was sometimes tasked to buy the accessories herself. At first she doesn’t like going to the hardware stores because in her mind it’s a man’s job but later on she got used it already.

It’s almost winter; however it’s getting cold everyday. I am planning to buy a boots to keep my feet warm but I didn’t find it in our local store here. Last week I attended a birthday party with my friend’s house. There were only 12 visitors, good thing all of them are my friends as well. Anyway, I was impressed of their kitchen because it made of stainless steel tiles. We don’t have a house yet though it gives me an idea what that steel tiles are really nice. I hope we can buy a house next year.
