When my wife recently decided that she was going to quit her job and start her own work-from-home business, I will admit I was exceedingly skeptical. While I supported her fully, I didn’t think it was the best idea. She started a business where she sold her own jewelry from a company that I initially thought was a bit of a pyramid scheme…but here’s the crazy thing—she has been wildly successful! She’s making way more money than she did in her corporate job, she loves what she’s doing, and she has become one of the highest sellers in her company! We recently got her a commercial space for her to work out of, since she was having a hard time focusing all the time at home. It’s become big enough that we could hire a nanny for the kids and she gets to fully focus on growing her little business. We signed her up for phone and internet service with small business xo and she can’t stop talking about how her productivity has improved since she’s not worried about her internet access going down all the time. I couldn’t be happier for her.
