Tropical fishes are easy to care in a home aquarium. One should see to it that the aquarium is not overstocked. Tropical fishes need sufficient light, with water at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21 degrees Celsius. The fishes also need a variety of food. Do not over-feed fishes for they will surely die. Feed fishes with food that they can consume in three to five minutes three times a day. Plants and filters maybe necessary. In changing water, we just remove 10% of it and replace with fresh water. This can be done every 2 weeks. To make a healthful habitat, there are chemicals that help fight diseases and condition tap water used. Freshwater aquariums are popular because they are easier to maintain.
