Pasalubong or Gift

It has been a practice of Filipinos to bring pasalubong (present or souvenir). If their relatives came from other foreign countries, they asked for shoes, chocolates, colognes, and lotions. If you visit tourist areas in the Philippines , they will ask you for native delicacies like sweet candies or pastillas, pastry, peanuts, and even fruits. Pasalubong is one way of remembering your love ones.
