Thailand is known for their Thai wedding ceremony and its time-honored traditions. On the 14th day of February 2001, the Trang Chamber of Commerce and Thia Airways International organized an underwater wedding held in the Island of Ko Kradan , Trang Thailand . The 34 couples from 22 different countries, who took part in the occasion, simultaneously exchanged wedding vows 10 meters (32.8ft) underwater. The said event set a Guinness World Record and put Trang on the world map.
