Tes Pasala known as the “Paper Queen” of the Philippine design world gathers tons of old newspapers and transforms them to a work of art. She encourages people to be aware of the environment. Tes had experimented, played, and explored with papers. So she used old newspapers which she dyed and cut into donut-shaped pieces. Then she placed it one by one in a swirly circular metal tube. The idea was to make a setting of a forest which is weird and odd-looking. She hopes that people will realize the importance of recycling.
