Fish Kill Warning

A warning was made by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources because of the kind of weather that is prevailing in the Philippines. Fish kills usually happen during the rainy season for when it’s cloudy, oxygen is depleted because there is no photosynthesis and with days of heavy rain, a fish kill may follow. Warnings have been given that when the dissolve oxygen reaches the limit, an emergency harvest is advised.
