Food Aversions of Pregnant Women

It is just normal for pregnant women to be queasy or worse after eating certain foods. Meat is the most common aversion, according to studies. Dr. Fessler explains that meat and other animal proteins, including eggs and seafood, are more likely to carry food-borne illnesses. So, evolution-wise, women may be predisposed to avoid them.
