Moving the Heaviest Building

“Bayanihan” had been a common practice in the rural areas in the Philippines. It is a time when people in the neighborhood will help in carrying the nipa house of one’s neighbor who wants to transfer. However, in the province of Guangzi, China, a building which is 111 feet tall and 33.3 million pounds was moved intact. It was relocated on November 10, 2004 and it took them 11 days to relocate the building.
