The Land of Milk and Honey

Filipinos leave the country is search of a better life. Many are licensed physicians, teachers, accountants who leave their jobs to become nurses, domestic helpers and caregivers in more progressive countries. Some come back embittered. But many do achieve their dreams.

I wonder how many of our Overseas Filipino Workers out there know that the real land of milk and honey isn’t the US , Canada or Japan . And how many of them know that instead of just milking their host countries for their own purposes, they can give some of what they posses to it.
