I love the climate of San Francisco. In August it can be a nice and cool 55°F. But it is very nice in the springtime also. The nickname for San Francisco is “City by the Bay.” There are many things to do in San Francisco , so don’t try to do it all in one day; that would certainly be impossible. So, take your time and spend a week or more there and take in some of the tourist attractions.
There are many sightseeing tours that are available, so you will have your choice of what you want to do. You can spend time just on a one day tour of a specific spot with tours lasting from 1 hour to many hours; and then you can get the 9 day pass. That is one of the best values for your dollar, if you have plenty of time to take in the sights.
The 9 day pass was the right choice for me. I enjoyed the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art with dining at Caffe Museo, the Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise with a ride under the Golden Gate Bridge and other attractions, the de Young and Legion of Honor Museums. There were many things that I enjoyed while there, and with the 9 day pass, it was very affordable and convenient. I did not have to stand in a lot of lines, because I had the pass. All and all, it was a perfect spring break vacation. I am sure that you will enjoy San Francisco too. You can also check out Things to do in Boston.
