Just like kids

After my kids grew up, went to college and got married and moved away I decided that I wanted a little extra company around the house. So I bought two little puppies. Well, about five years later they're full grown dogs and bigger terrors in the house than every of my kids ever were even put together!

Now, I do love my dogs, it's just that they're not that bright so they do a lot of dumb things, like go through the trash and stuff like that. The latest bad thing that they've done is scratch up a bunch of my kitchen cabinets. The other day I was cooking some barbecue in my crock pot on the kitchen counter and they must have smelled it and tried to reach it by scratched on the doors and trying to sniff it out. Well, this left some ugly marks on my kitchen cabinets, so i had to get sears cabinet refacing to come and replace all the cabinets in my kitchen. I had never gotten them done before so they probably all needed them anyway. I just hope that my dogs dont' try and make that a habit.
